Etisalat Unveils Easy Cliq in Style

With unprecedented glamour and lots of fun and entertainment on display on Friday May 8, Etisalat Nigeria, the innovative GSM service provider formally unveiled its youth product, Easy Cliq, into the dynamic Nigerian telecom market.

The green carpet event which had the entire Planet One Entertainment’ premises, the venue of the product unveiling, literally transformed into a glowing wonderland, left guests agape. From the rug which adorned the entire floor of the compound, the power bikes that ruled the neighboring roads of the venue, to the event halls and night club halls, the entire vicinity shone with the splendid green and black colours of Etisalat. It was an unveiling with a difference that offered an imperial welcome to all.

The ambience created, with the accompanying razzmatazz, was an experience designed to stay with the teeming subscribers at the launch for a long time to come, with youths from leading institutions of higher learning from across the country topping the list of invited guests at the exciting and innovative event.

The expansive green carpet area of the Planet One venue began filling up rapidly with young guests from as early as 5:00pm. They arrived superbly dressed in green and black, adding even more glamour to the already glamorous decor of the venue. There was more than enough to keep their active minds occupied, with various exciting games like table soccer, play station and Xbox lined up to thrill and keep them occupied and happy. A cadre of power bikers further lit up the carpet with stunts that held the guests spellbound, while they treated themselves to a feast of choice finger foods and an amazing variety of cocktails.

Much to the delight of the guests, the much expected revelation of Easy Cliq came with a bouquet of award winning artists and dance groups who thrilled the teeming youngsters with popular songs and dance steps. On parade were artists like Banky W, MI, DJ Zeez, Wande Coal, Bouqui and also Xplicit dance group who helped ensure that the night would be one guests would remember for a very long time.

Bisi Adeoye, a student of University of Lagos said he was thrilled with the amazing new look of the environment. “I can’t believe this place”, he said. “This is a total turnaround from what this place used to look like. I am totally impressed and taken by surprise with this new look”.

Another impressed guest at the event, Thelma Asuquo, a young banker, praised Etisalat’s innovative product, Easy Cliq, saying: “this is certainly an amazing product from Etisalat. The features and services available on this package are very interesting. I can’t wait to start using the product. I particularly like the free stuffs on the package, like the free SMS, MMS, internet browsing, ring back tunes, wall papers and airtime.”

The night did not end in a hurry because there was a well planned out post unveil party designed to keep the young guests ‘cliqing’ all night long. Filled with fun loving young people, the Planet One Entertainment night club was alive with vibrant life from midnight till dawn as hot vibes were dished out in matchless succession from the turntables and video mixers of VJ Jimmy Jatt.

Easy Cliq is a prepaid package specially designed for the young and the young at heart. It is designed to fit their spend patterns; enhance their social needs and aid them meet their aspirations. Easy cliq subscribers can also take advantage of free data downloads up to 3MB per month.

To get on the goodies train that easy cliq is offering subscribers on the Etisalat network, new subscribers simply need to purchase a pack of four Easy Cliq SIMs or buy an individual SIM from any Etisalat shop or any of the hundreds of retail outlets and street vendors across Nigeria. Existing subscribers on the Etisalat network can migrate from Easy Starter to Easy Cliq by dialing *244*1# or by calling 244 from their Etisalat line. They can also dial 200 from their Etisalat line to get further information from Etisalat’s friendly customer care representatives. Subscribers from other networks can obtain further information about easy cliq by dialling 0809 000 0200. First migration from easy starter to easy cliq is free until 8 July 2009.
