9ja Free Credit Promo FAQs

1. What is new in the 9ja Free Credit Promo?

9ja free credit promo is now offering triple reward to registered etisalat customers, including Smartphones and Dual SIM (Camera) Phones reward every 5 minutes of every HOUR in the month of September 2012.
The rewards are as follow:
- Airtime reward of up to N100,000
- Smartphones and Dual SIM (Camera) Phones will also be given out every 5 minutes of every HOUR. These Smartphones come with 50MB free data.

2. Who can benefit from this promo?

This promo is open to both new and existing etisalat customers
Customers on easy starter, 0809Uchoose, Handset bundle packages, easy cliq, enuff yarn+, Talkzone, SME Prepaid, eliteworld (prepaid and postpaid) and Classic Postpaid can benefit from this promo.
However, the Smartphone & Dual SIM phone reward is not open to customers on eliteworld (prepaid & postpaid) and classic postpaid
In other words, only customers on easy starter, easy cliq, Talkzone and enuff yarn+ can benefit from the hourly reward
The following categories of customers can benefit from the airtime bonus;

3. How can I benefit from this promo as a new customer?

Buy and activate your Etisalat SIM card by calling 200
Register your SIM after activation
Your first airtime recharge anytime in September 2012 qualifies you for the promo
All your recharges from first recharge are monitored for the next 30 days
At the end of the 30th day, 30% bonus of all your recharges will be credited to your account as bonus
You also qualify for the Smartphone or Dual SIM phone reward offer every 5minutes of every hour for 30 days

4. Can I win the Smartphone or Dual SIM phone and still win free airtime?

Yes. Provided you satisfy the criteria for winning i.e. registration and recharge
However, while the Smartphone or Dual SIM phone will be given every 5minutes of every hour during the month of September 2012, bonus on recharge will be credited to your account after the 30th day

5. Can I win the Smartphone or Dual SIM phone more than once during the promo?

6. If I win a Smartphone or Dual SIM phone, how long do I have to redeem the phone?

You have up to 2 weeks after the promo ends to redeem your prize
Winners must redeem their prizes on or before October 15, 2012; otherwise, the prize will be forfeited

7. If I do not register after activation, will you still give me the bonus?

Yes. After activation, you will be able to recharge even before registration; and you will get your bonus after 30 days.
However, you will not be able to make calls and send SMS until you register your SIM.

8. I have an etisalat line already, can I benefit from this promo?

Yes. You can benefit from the promo provided you are yet to register your SIM
If you have not registered your SIM, you cannot benefit from the free airtime bonus but you can benefit from the hourly reward

9. What if I have not registered my SIM?

As an existing customer, you will not benefit from the promo until you register your SIM
Once you register your SIM any time in the month of September 2012, your recharges will be monitored from the day of registration
The total recharges you make for a period of 30 days starting from the day you register your SIM determines your bonus
At the end of the 30th day, 30% of your total recharges will be credited to your line as bonus

10. I have registered my SIM with NCC; do I need to register again?

No. Once you have registered your SIM, you do not need to register again.
However, you will not be able to benefit from the promo because you did not register with etisalat.

13. What is the effect of 9ja Free Credit Promo on my You & Me credit?

9ja Free Credit Promo has no effect on your You & Me service; neither does it have effect on all other services you currently enjoy on the network.
However, during the period of the promo, the first recharge bonus after activation is suspended; likewise the monthly bonus airtime on enuff yarn+ is also suspended.
Meanwhile, after 9ja Free Credit Promo, the above two suspended reward schemes will be re-activated.

14. When is the promo ending?

The promo will run from 1st – 30th September, 2012
The first recharge after activation in the month of September 2012 enrolls new subscribers for the promo
The registration of SIM in the month of September 2012 enrolls the existing subscribers that are yet to register their SIMs for the promo
Monitoring of individual customers’ recharges starts from the day of enrolment for 30 days
The bonus is credited at the end of the 30th day for newly activated SIMs or existing but newly registered customers

15. If I win a Smartphone or Dual SIM phone, how will I know?

You will receive a congratulatory SMS message from Etisalat. The SMS contains your claim code, without which you will not be able to redeem your Smartphone or Dual SIM phone
You will also receive a call from our Staff

16. Do I need to provide anything to redeem my Smartphone or Dual SIM phone?

You will be required to present the SMS sent to you from Etisalat with the claim code
Winners should also be able to prove ownership of the line by answering some simple questions

17. Where can I redeem my Smartphone or Dual SIM phone?

You will be required to go to any of our experience centres to redeem your Smartphone or Dual SIM phone

18. If I win a Dual SIM phone, will I enjoy the 50MB free data offer also?

No. The 50MB free data is only available to Smartphone winners
Smartphone winners’ number will be provided with 50MB free data at the point of redemption
The 50MB free data is valid for 30 days from the day you receive it
